I’m Miguel, Portuguese photographer and videographer (and musician).
Like most of us, my love for photography and film started very early, when my parents made the mistake of lending me the family camera whilst on vacation (to much of their regret, the photos were primarily of random people and not monuments). But hey, that started a love for portraiture!
During my uni degree in music, I found myself picking up the camera professionally for the first time - shooting fellow bands and artists. And when the world hit pause in 2020, I decided to pick up that first 35mm camera again and document the peaceful, quiet moments in between the chaos of the pandemic- SILÊNCIO - which in turn SPARKED my love for storytelling, making me embark on learning all about THE INTRICACIES OF video.
When the world resumed, I finally made my way to the fashion industry, having had the privilege to shoot with household brands in both stills and motion! WHICH AS FURTHER INCREASED my passion for storytelling, documenting, and video as an art form.
